RSGs Transportation Planning, Consulting, and Engineering practice provides the following services:
Traffic Operations Analyses - Providing technical solutions for mobility and safety. We perform traffic impact studies and provide technical peer review of such studies for municipal boards.
Traffic Engineering Design - Designing transportation solutions to enhance safety and mobility. We assist municipal public works departments in maintaining traffic signals and in optimizing signal operations. We provide design services for highways, intersections, and travel-related public facilities.
Transportation Planning - Analyzing transportation issues to improve the quality of travel. We conduct needs assessments, infrastructure inventories, access management plan, and corridor planning studies. We consult with Planning Commissions on improving planning ordinances to better preserve transportation capacity.
Travel Demand Forecasts - Forecasting travel demand for responsible use of public resources. We use state-of-the art software to develop simulation models for estimating travel demand.
Transportation Consumer Research - Understanding consumers travel needs and behaviors. We have developed unique approaches to surveying the public regarding their transportation needs and predilections.
