IVS specializes in creating GIS datasets and applications for municipalities so that they are compliant with the VTrans and GASB-34 reporting requirements. We have completed asset inventories (road, culvert, bridges, etc) with GPS technology for several communities. We are conversant with the RSMS software package as well as our own AssetGIS, a comprehensive asset management software that was recently chosen for use by the Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Organization in a national selection process. IVS has also worked with local utility companies to help meet their asset management needs.
