Public Works Software for Managing Municipal Infrastructure
Asset management and capital budgeting are important practices to achieve responsible government. We have conducted many workshops over the years on these topics including computer training and technical assistance.
While we will continue to promote good management practices in municipalities, the Vermont Local Roads Program no longer provides direct training in public works software. Municipalities have a variety of computer related resources to choose from. Some consultants conduct infrastructure inventories and some assist municipalities to manage their changing data.
Vermont Local Roads want to be sure you have access to people who provide excellent computer services. It is important that they give you the tools you need to take advantage of VTrans grants, GASB 34 requirements and other programs.
