Barre
BOR Ice Arena- 25 Auditorium Hill
From 1-89 to Rt. 62 (exit 7). Proceed east on Rt. 62 approx. 3 miles. Turn right on N. Main St. (US 302) and proceed 2 blocks to Seminary St. Turn left on Seminary St. (watch for sign) and proceed up the hill to the rink. View Map.
Town Manager's Office- 149 Websterville Road
From I-89, take Exit 6 (Rte. 63) an access road. Travel about 3 miles to the second traffic signal at the bottom of the hill at the end of Rte. 63 and the intersection with Rte. 14. Go straight through the intersection onto Middle Rd. for about 1.5 miles. At the top of the hill turn left onto Graniteville Rd. (Rock of Ages is at the intersection). Go about 1 mile to first intersection and take a right onto Websterville Rd. (Wilson Cemetery is at the intersection). The Municipal Office is about 3/4 of a mile on the left, past Barre Town Elementary School, the Town Garage and railroad tracks. View Map.
From St. Johnsbury, take Rte. 2 to East Montpelier. Turn left on Rte.14 southbound. Follow Route 14 to Barre City. At the first traffic signal turn left by Mister Z's Restaurant (Rte. 14 south and Rte. 302 east. Approximately mile from that intersection, Routes 14 and 302 split, in the center of town at the Veteran's Memorial Statue. Go right at the split following Rte. 14 south, there are two traffic signals a short distance apart before the split. At the next light stay right on Rte. 14. (South Main Street). Go a half mile and take a left onto Quarry St. (Quarry Hill Rd. in Barre Town). Quarry Street is after the Days Inn and Routhier's Auto, the left hand turn for it is just as Rte. 14 starts to crest to a slight hill. Follow Quarry Street 1.3 miles to the top and a four-way intersection next to Wilson Cemetery. Take a left onto Westerville Road.The Municipal Office is about 3/4 of a mile on the left, past Barre Town Elementary School, the Town Garage and railroad tracks. View Map.
From Connecticut River Valley use Rte. 25 west (north) from Bradford. At the intersection of Rtes. 25 and 302, turn left onto Rte. 302 west. Follow 302 about 10 miles to the village of East Barre and intersection with Route 110. At this intersection turn left onto Rte. 110. About 75 yards form the intersection, Rte. 110 bears left, stay straight (you will drive by the East Barre Fire Station, East Barre Market, East Barre Craft Center, and East Barre Antique Mall)After passing these buildings there is a stop sign, turn right onto Websterville Road. About 1 mile up the road, turn to the right at the yield sign near the Wells-Lamson Quarry. The Municipal Building is on the right after a large curve approximately mile after turning right.
